Terms & Conditions
Posture Positive Terms & Conditions
These Terms and Conditions apply to all appointments, treatments, and services provided by Posture Positive. By booking or attending an appointment, you agree to these terms.
Bookings and Appointments
-
Appointments can be booked online, by telephone, or by email.
-
Your appointment will be confirmed via email, and you will receive reminders prior to your session.
-
Please read the confirmation email fully for useful information on how to find us and other important appointment related information.
-
Please provide accurate personal and health information when booking to ensure safe treatment.
Cancellation and No-Show Policy
-
Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before your appointment.
-
Cancellations made after this time, or missed appointments, may incur fees of up to the full cost of the service.
-
This policy ensures fair access for other patients and covers costs incurred by last-minute cancellations.

-
For certain appointments, we may require explicit confirmation of attendance. This may apply to new patient appointments and/or appointments scheduled outside standard industry hours (including late evenings, weekends, or Sundays).

-
This measure is in place to protect against loss of practitioner time and costs incurred when travelling to the clinic specifically for appointments that are not attended.

-
In these circumstances, your practitioner will make reasonable efforts to contact you in advance (via phone call, email, text message, or other appropriate means) to confirm your attendance. If confirmation is not received despite these efforts, the appointment may be cancelled, and you will be notified accordingly.
Payments
-
We accept card payments online or in person.
-
Payment is typically due at the end of the service, although some appointment types may require an upfront deposit or full payment to secure the booking.
-
Failed or declined payments, including fees for missed or late-cancelled appointments, must be resolved before any further bookings can be made.
Health Information and Patient Responsibility
-
Patients must provide accurate medical history and inform the clinic of any changes to health, medications, or conditions.
-
If appropriate medical information is not provided, we reserve the right to refuse treatment.
-
Osteopathic treatment may not be suitable in all cases. Where necessary, we will advise you and may refer you to a more suitable practitioner.
Treatment Reactions / Side Effects
-
While all reasonable care is taken, Posture Positive is not liable for any adverse reactions to treatment, except in cases of negligence.
-
Treatments may cause post-treatment soreness, fatigue, or temporary aggravation of symptoms, typically lasting 1–2 days.
-
If you experience concerning symptoms, please contact us via email or phone, and we will advise appropriately.
-
By consenting to treatment, you accept that post treatment side effects may occur as listed above.

-
Your practitioner will gain ongoing consent from you during the treatment process, you have the right to decline any treatment at any time and will be given alternative options.
Unforeseen Circumstances
-
In rare instances, appointments may need to be rescheduled or cancelled due to situations outside our control, such as weather, natural disaster, or medical emergencies.
-
We will endeavour to contact you as soon as reasonably possible in such cases.
Patient Conduct
-
Posture Positive reserves the right to refuse or discontinue treatment if a patient behaves in an abusive, aggressive, or inappropriate manner, including verbal, physical, or sexual misconduct.
-
In such cases, any fees already paid may be forfeited, and future appointments may be cancelled.
Complaints and Feedback
-
If you have concerns or wish to provide feedback about your treatment or our services, please contact us promptly by email or phone, or via the contact form below.
-
We aim to acknowledge all complaints within 2 working days and provide a full response within 10 working days.
-
If you remain dissatisfied, you may contact the General Osteopathic Council (GOsC): https://www.osteopathy.org.uk/patients/.
